Quality Control Inspector - Military

Wurth Revcar Fasteners, Inc., a global components distribution company with headquarters in Roanoke, VA is looking for a Quality Inspector for a full time hourly position which supports our Military Sales department (within a nonmanufacturing Distribution Warehouse). This is predominately a desk job in a temperature controlled environment where you will be reviewing paperwork (certifications, test reports, specifications) for conformance and accuracy, as well as conducting small part inspection (washers, bolts, nuts, screws) using ring gauges, calipers and other handheld devices. Successful candidates must be detail orientated, work independently, have strong reading and math skills and possess excellent communication skills. Prime candidates will be able to read blue prints for parts, specifications, and use micrometers, calipers and other small handheld gauges. Preferred candidates will have previous detailed quality inspection experience. Familiarity with military specifications, a metallurgy background, or experience in fastener manufacturing is a plus.   • High School Diploma/GED required (2 Yr College Degree is preferred)
