Project Analyst

Responsible for monitoring and reporting National Accounts Implementation Projects’ KPI’s, establishing a standardized process for handling all project driven data sets, and serving as a supporting resource for project specific supply chain activities.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for monitoring and reporting National Accounts Implementation Projects’ KPI’s, establishing a standardized process for handling all project driven data sets, and serving as a supporting resource for project specific supply chain activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate collection of all project specific data sets and report on key metrics pertaining to assigned projects.
  • Assist the Program Director and Operating Companies’ Project Leads with resource allocation, tracking, and reporting
  • Develop/maintain a standardized program parts tracking process for all implementation projects.
  • Track and report project budget information and provide cost analysis reporting
  • Provide detailed analysis of supply chain transition inventory movement, phase in and GAP analysis
  • Assist the local purchasing and implementation teams by providing inventory status reports
  • Develop, document and provide detailed process, procedures and training to employees for the implementation Program Parts Tracker.
  • Provide support and reporting for all National Accounts customer quotes
  • Keep all necessary employees informed when updates or changes are made to program parts tracking.
  • Gather data, analyze, and assist the local implementation teams with VMI program changes as defined.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action events pertaining to implementation projects
  • Report key figures on a monthly basis to the Managing Directors, WINA Executive Team and Program Director
  • Serve as project manager for small to medium sized projects
  • Work directly with the National Quote team and Demand Analysts at each operating company
  • Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • College degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics/Economics
  • Basic experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with web based programs are advantageous.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions and percentages and solve mathematical equations as related to our industry required.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists required.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to end users.
  • Ability to travel locally and overnight to customer and branch locations 50%
  • Must occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs.
