Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG (Company Headquarters)
Würth Industry's Parent Company

The Würth Group is the lifework of Reinhold Würth and one of the success stories of postwar German history. From a two-man operation taken over from his father in 1954, a group of companies employing 63,699 people, including 29,000 Sales Representatives, has meanwhile developed. The enterprise has pushed up the original annual sales of $70,000 to now more than $13 billion US.

Prof. Reinhold Würth, Owner
of Adolf Würth GmbH
& Co. KG
In its core business, the Würth Group is a classic direct marketing enterprise in the field of assembly and fastening technique. The majority of its companies, led by Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG at Group headquarters in Künzelsau, deal mainly in technical consumption goods.

The business focuses on trade in screws, screw accessories, chemical-technical products, furniture and building fittings, dowels and plugs, insulation, hand tools, electric and pneumatic tools, service and care products, connection and fastening materials, stocking and picking systems, as well as the direct mailing of work wear.

The Würth Group currently does business through more than 400 companies in 86 countries. Half of the companies use the name Würth. The remaining subsidiaries (Allied Companies) do not use the corporate name Würth but trade under their own names. Worldwide, Würth serves some 2.96 million customers, specifically professional final users in the automotive trades, in wood and metal processing as well as in industry.

The sales program of the Würth line comprises a core range of over 50,000 articles and sizes, which are offered by the Würth sales staff under the Würth brand name. Also Würth operates 56 company owned branch sales offices in Germany. The sales program of the Allied Companies ranges from screws and standard parts through tools, building and furniture fittings to electronic circuit boards.

All the companies of the Würth Group pursue a common goal: to be innovative, open up new markets, and grow profitably. Growth is therefore the strategic focus of the Würth Group. Business activities are geared to the needs of our customers. We aspire to supply them with competent solutions to problems with quality products, quickly and reliably.
