Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an organized and numbers savvy individual to work with a small number of high volume accounts that utilize our proprietary system for inventory management. This account representative role entails developing long-term relationships with our customers and assisting in new sales. This position will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

Summary

This account representative role entails developing long-term relationships with our customers and assisting in new sales. This position will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the internal point of contact for the customer
  • Help and communicate with customers through email, phone, and in-person meetings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with customers to ensure continued business and increase sales within the customer.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to integrate new business and developing existing customer relationships

Preferred Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Prefer three years’ experience in customer service managing sizable accounts

Experience in an industrial distribution environment is a plus

Experience with fastener products is a plus.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong technical skills to work effectively in systems.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically WORD, Excel, and Outlook. Excel skills utilizing spreadsheets and pivot tables.
