Warehouse Material Handler

Würth Service Supply, Inc. is currently seeking motivated and dedicated individual to work as a Warehouse Material Handler in our Phoenix, AZ distribution center.

Position

Würth Service Supply, Inc. is currently seeking motivated and dedicated individual to work as a Warehouse Material Handler in our Phoenix, AZ distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Use of sit-down and stand-up style forklifts;
  • Assist in receiving functions and put away product in correct location
  • Picking and preparation of customer orders for shipment;
  • Use of packaging machine to pack product;
  • Organization of inventory;
  • Loading/unloading of delivery trucks;
  • Assist in shipping products to customers
  • Daily cycle counts
  • Maintenance of warehouse equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in customer service to key customer accounts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years’ warehouse experience operating stand-up and sit-down style forklifts, including narrow aisle/swing reach trucks and order pickers
  • Experience using handheld RF scanner in a distribution environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to fill orders accurately
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member in achieving branch goals
  • Forklift certification, or the ability to be certified
  • Ability to lift and move 40-50 pounds regularly
  • Basic math and reading ability in weight counting, using a scale and calculator to measure parts
  • Team player and good work ethic
  • Ability to work overtime and work on weekends as needed.
  • Experience in Prophet – 21 and Latitude computer software programs highly desired.
