We currently have an opportunity in the Murfreesboro, TN area for a Regional Sales Representative.

Summary

Execute sales strategy, initiate contact with potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate products/services to meet those needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrate a drive and passion for creating sales, relationship building, and satisfying the customer.
  • Identify prospects for new business, arrange sales calls, generate interest in our products and services, and close the sale.
  • Coordinate with Snider and national team to create customer quotes and establish delivery of products.
  • Continually seek personal growth.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the sales team and promote teamwork throughout our organization.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • College degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success at outside sales.
  • Experience with fastener products a plus.
  • Experience working with manufacturers supplying the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience in industrial sales a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to the customer and coordinate with business partners.
  • Time management skills and personal responsibility to ensure productivity in a self-directed working environment.
  • Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to define goals, seek information, and make recommendations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiating skills to persuade others.
  • Computer skills to effectively use word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail tools (Microsoft Office platform).
