This position is located on Houston, TX.

Summary

Provide outstanding service to our customers and contribute to the operational and financial goals of the company by ensuring the accurate and timely receiving, storing, and staging of material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and put away product quickly and accurately.
  • Inspect product according to quality policies and procedures.
  • Pick product and prepare according to customer replenishment needs.
  • Deliver product to various locations within the customers facility.
  • Assist with resolving inventory issues.
  • Other warehousing duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of customer service expectations and sincere desire to represent the company well in the customer’s environment.
  • Ability to work independently, seek information, and make recommendations with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product receiving and picking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, and customers, verbally and through e-mail.
  • Computer/technical skills to effectively use our inventory and order system, office e-mail and employee self-service systems.
