Program Manager

Provide sales and technical phone support for the products that we sell and any issues/questions related to our consignment accounts


Job Purpose

Provide sales and technical phone support for the products that we sell and any issues/questions related to our consignment accounts. Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting business and technical requirements; providing business and technical information and solutions.

Duties and Responsibility

Act as direct point of contact for our customers

  • Establish and maintain excellent long-term relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Receive orders through phone calls, emails or faxes
  • Process orders quickly and accurately
  • Process quotes quickly and accurately
  • Answer the phone in professional manner
  • Generate leads for our outside sales team
  • Follow up with open orders and quotes
  • Process all paperwork necessary to fulfill customer’s order (can include SLI, customs documentation,customer certifications, etc.)
  • Proactively call customers to introduce company, generate leads, or follow up

Communicate with our vendors directly

  • Receive communications from our vendors and be able to respond or forward to the appropriate person
  • Follow up on open Purchase Orders or RFQs
  • Receive pricing and availability via phone, fax, email, or website
  • Schedule training or meetings with sales representatives
  • Participate in training or meetings with sales representatives

Billing/Invoicing Processes

  • Bill customers during their predetermined billing cycles (weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Understand and use Cribmaster to create POs, receive POs, generate reports, correct issues
  • Understand and use Vendnovation to create POs, receive POs, generate reports, correct issues
  • Understand and Maintain all vending machines related to your branch

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and professional through stressful or ambiguous situations in order to objectively interpret information
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Able to Meet Deadlines

Working Conditions

Normal office environment, climate controlled. The typical work week occurs during the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. A flexible mindset and schedule is appreciated for any rare occasions where you may need to stay late.

Physical Requirements

The ability to bend, reach, stoop, walk short distances; the ability to sit for long periods of time. Carry packages weighing no more than 20 lbs on an occasional basis
